The first released car was a model Legend (later renamed RL) - a copy of the Japanese Honda Legend. The car was equipped with a 2.5 liter engine and produced 150 liters. from. Unlike the Honda model, the aerodynamic body design for the Acura was developed using a computer program used by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration).
The Integra was available in a 3- or 5-door version with a 1.6-liter engine delivering 113 hp, this model was aimed at as much for luxury as for sports.
Honda Accord became the prototype for the model Acura Vigor, which went into series in 1995. Subsequently, the name was replaced by the letters TL. The car was the most recognizable model Acura in the US.
The MDX model, which began production in America in 2000, was the first SUV car for the company. MDX confidently felt both off-road and on the track, thanks to the innovative Variable Torque Management system.
