Alfa-Romeo 146 - these small hatchback, made in a 3-door body, were produced by an Italian company in 1994-2001. The presentation of the development took place in 1994, in the framework of the Turin Motor Show. In the same year, the car was fired into the series. The creation took place on the platform of the Fiat Type Two model. In addition, some experts classify the car as a liftback, because of the small edge of the luggage compartment.
The appearance of the new car in many respects echoed the model Alfa Romeo 164, as well as the Alfa Romeo 33 series, the continuation of which it was positioned.
Despite the small size, the Alfa-Romeo 146 looks fast and sharp, which is facilitated by a hood with a wedge-shaped leading edge, a curved radiator grille and an outstanding bumper. Aggressiveness of the machine attached to a large air intake, located just under the license plate.
In profile Alfa-Romeo 146 looked very attractive due to the rising of the line of side windows and almost flat roof, not littered to the stern. Pads for thresholds, punching and lines along the sidewall, and stylish alloy wheels add sportiness. The rear of the body is both artless and attractive. Clear geometric lines of tail lights, trunk doors, bumpers, bumpers, reflectors - all this looks harmonious.
The car was available in two body styles three-door hatback (Alfa-Romeo 145), and since 1995 a five-door hatchback (Alfa-Romeo 146).
